Did the problem appeared after switching from 2.3.9 to 2.3.10 version?
Janusz
Good idea. Should be added in next major FA release.
Janusz
Thank you very much for the information. This problem with HTTPS on IIS waited long time for the solution. Will be fixed in next minor release.

If you want to be sure all will work, set the permissions to value as you wish, and then have a look into System Diagnostcs page under Setup tab to eventually fix the problems.
Janusz.
Remove /modules/_cache/Release.gz file and try again. Probably it has bad permission rights and FA cannot remove it.
Janusz
You can restrict access to various FA areas (also reports) customizing Access Roles and properly assign them to staff members.
Janusz
This is planned to be inally implemented in FA 2.4 i.e. next major release.

The problem here was deleted default inventory location. I guess mph has recreated it.

The textcart module is now available via FrontAccounting package repositiory.
Thanks elax for your contribution

Which message board you mean?
Janusz
Yes, this is a bug, the 'Delivery Required by' setting should be used here.
Janusz
Hi Chaitanya,
I'm not sure what you mean? Just contact me via email.
Janusz
FrontAccounting does not support serial number tracking for now.
Janusz
You have improperly set tax system, so no tax rate is applicable both to goods and customers. There is a couple of threads describing how to set tax system up for typical tax models, so please dig the forum up.
Janusz
I think so. Just try.
Janusz
Be patient. We will make it available soon, maybe next week.

In default configuration the item codes are not printed on PO for obvious reason: in most situations suppllier does not know internal item codes used by cooperating companies, so the codes printed here could only lead to misunderstanding. If you prefer to use the same codes as your supplier, you can set $show_po_item_codes=true in your config.php file.
Janusz
Seems you have removed the default shipper record. Create one at Shipping Companies screen first.
Janusz
No, it is not. Will be fixed in next minor release.
Thanks for pointing this out.

The Asset Register module is provided as is by the author. The code in the current state cannot be directly integrated into core FA because due to some design decisions it requires extended database user priviledges, which core FA don't require (e.g. stored procedures are used, so the database initialization can be done only by database server administrator). If anybody is interested in refactoring the module code to be more usable for average FA user without additional permittions, you are welcome - we will include the fixed version into FA repo instead. Unfortunately we have no free resources to do it ourself just now.

You should have symlink /var/www/frontaccounting =>/usr/share/frontaccounting. AFAIK /usr i out of document_root and is not accesible via http.
Keep in mind the version available form Debian/Ubuntu is already outdated (2.2).

Subscription details you will find here. Regarding partnership do not hesitate to contact us by email e.g. via mailing list.
Janusz
Just install FA again. This is just the simplest way.
Janusz
This bug was reported some time ago to debian bugtracker (#618771), but still is not resolved. I would advice installing current stable version downloaded from sourceforge, as anyway 2.2.x distributed by Debian is outdated release. Using installer included in the tarball you can also select right language and COA, which is not available in current Debian package.
