Thanks. I have around 300 customers but that will work.
I appreciate your help.
When we invoice a customer we add unique identifiers to an item. Our business is a combination service/product business.
We may have a product defined as "ABC"
When we invoice a customer, the invoice would something like:
1 ABC - ordered by Jim Beam, Serial # xxxx - delivered to "name"
1 ABC - ordered by Johnny Walker, Serial # yyyy - delivered to "someone else".
Is there a way to handle these identifiers?
Thanks.
I'm now able to see the customer I added by pressing the space bar but the customer is visible only if I press the space bar. When I exit the manage customer screen and re-enter it, the only option shown in the drop down is to add a new customer.
The customer is listed as active.
My business sells b2b but doesn't use branches. All sales are to one location.
I've added a new company but when I try to manage that company, they don't appear on the drop-down list.
Thinking it might be part of the lack of a branch, I tried to add one, but again there are no customers listed on the drop down.
I know the company is in the DB because when I run a Customer Balance report, the customer is listed.
Any help would be appreciated
Somtimes I'm getting the error message:
"Undefined index: language in /.../session.inc on line 169" error message only on the sign in page.
I'm running Linux, 5.1.6-15.el5
Safe mode is off. I'm running several other DBs on this site that use sessions and they have no problems.
Ideas?
Thanks. That did the trick!
Hi Joe:
I've just tried to do a fresh install to try FA out.
The installation wizard calls for the file config_db.php and says it is unwriteable. For the life of me I can't find it anywhere. All I can find is config.default.php.
When I try to install anyway, I get the error: "Error: Cannot open the extension setup file '../installed_extensions.php' for writing." which I assume relates to the lack of config_db.php
I've read install.html and up update.htlp. Neither mentions where config_db.php is or how to create it.
Thanks
Fred
