Topic: Adding Customers Issue

My business sells b2b but doesn't use branches. All sales are to one location.

I've added a new company but when I try to manage that company, they don't appear on the drop-down list.

Thinking it might be part of the lack of a branch, I tried to add one, but again there are no customers listed on the drop down.

I know the company is in the DB because when I run a Customer Balance report, the customer is listed.

Any help would be appreciated

Probably you have this new company marked as inactive.

I'm now able to see the customer I added by pressing the space bar but the customer is visible only if I press the space bar. When I exit the manage customer screen and re-enter it, the only option shown in the drop down is to add a new customer.

The customer is listed as active.

Switch off 'Search customer list' in company setup. This option is for sites with long customer list, and not especially comfortable if you have  only a couple of customers..

Thanks. I have around 300 customers but that will work.
