Hi,
If u want to add the comment as footer or header then go to "reporting/includes/doctext.inc" and in other case edit rep107 and rep109.

Sales -> Sales_order_ui.inc, cart_class.inc, sales_order_db are the files.

Hi,
Yes this is possible by adding additional filed of original quote and then log it with revised one.
May following steps help u to design solution;
1. When creating revised quote; check revised and select orignal quote number.
2. When adding to database, add original trans number into the field.
Through reports then u can trace, all changes.

I try to add text filed having line items to direct invoice. I created UI of that filed and DB but it still shows error 1064.
Steps for modifications
User Interface (UI)
1. FA /sales/includes/ui/sales_order_ui.inc
2. FA /sales/includes/cart_class.inc
3. FA /sales/includes/sales_order_entry.php
Data base
1. FA /sales/includes/db/cust_trans_details_db.inc
