Did you mean Spanish "Nomina" to be "Appointment" or "Approval "?
There is no "Approval" system in default FrontAccounting for now.
There is no standard "Payroll / Recruitment (Appointment) / HR" module for FrontAccounting. Some users have created it for themselves and some have put it up for free use. @Farhaj and @kvvaradha have commercial ones. @notrinos has an open source one.
I have used the new extension of Front HRM by integrating it into FrontAccounting. I got very good instructions at https://github.com/notrinos/Front-Hrm

@notrinos: You have an update.sql and a similar update2.sql file in your module with the former having an extra line:
ALTER TABLE `0_gl_trans` ADD `payslip_no` INT(11) NOT NULL DEFAULT 0;
What is the reasoning / usage?

It's a reference to payslip_details table for querying employees transactions details, I know this is not good solution but have not figured out a better way.
Should it not be part of the table then and use just 1 sql file?

Installed and activated fronthrm ... but all items within it are grayed out ... what next?
Have to edit the access for the new module, even for system admin ... but entries still grayed out ... after adding HRM access, save then re-enter two more checkboxes appear, checked them and still all items are grayed out.
Is there something else to add first?
EDIT: had to log out, ctrl-f5 to refresh the browser and then log back in ... items are no longer grayed out.
