Hi all,

I want to ask what is the best POS client to integrate with frontaccounting & how to intergate it step by step.

Commercial applications that interface with FrontAccounting are AntErp and Logicworks CounterLogic.

Roll your own using any of the Restful APIs - check out the SipleAPI Module and others on the Wiki and / or contact Support.

anterp seems integrate with ecommerce opensource
logicworks seems intergate with weberp.

what I'm looking for is POS client, like smartPOS for openbravo
I search in sourceforge it seems openpos & posper are good candidate but I dont know which one is the best & how to integrate them with frontaccounting.

I tried simpleAPI module, but not success.
I go to http://YOUR_FA_URL/modules/api/
I use false username & password, the message is BAD LOGIN
I use true username & password, the message is 404 PAGE NOT FOUND

I go to http://YOUR_FA_URL/modules/api/category/
I use with true username & password, the message is Object not found!

  Yes, we have done the integration between open source POS with FrontAccounting and currently have been deploy into our customers in Malaysia. We support almost all features in open source POS except for item serialized and item kits.

Unless you are up to programming PHP it is better to go with supported programs like AntERP - @tclim has provided several plugins, contributed enough code and is knowledgeable in FA - you are likely to find his products fit in well with FA. Likewise other SOAP proponents too can provide support and LogicWorks can tailor it for FA being a fork, though does not say so online.
