   Please take a look at our new FrontAccounting Executive themes. It have integrate with Google Charts and Jquery into a single Dashboard. you can simply see the Current Account, Overdue sales and purchase information easily.

Great News,

  I have spend for about 2 weeks to complete my first executive theme. The name "Executive" mean you will see your summary report and charts when you login to FrontAccounting. The "drag n drop" dashboard are currently support the feature with ability to "add widgets". You can also create your own widgets and add into the Dashboard easily.

  These "Dashboard" was created by using the combination of jquery and Google Charts. I have completely customize my dashboard to suite our need. I didn't use the existing framework to developed this feature since I was more familiar with jquery. Anyway, there are no "crash" by mixing jquery with current frameworks.

  This issue can be solved using the FrontAccounting Fonts at download link. Please try to downloads the dejavu font at

Follow the step below to deployed into your FrontAccounting.
1) Extract the dejavu.zip
     Files will be extracted as below:
     - dejavu.ctg.z
     - dejavu.php
     - dejavu.z
   
  2) Use the FTP program (Filezilla) to migrate all the 3 files into reporting/fonts folder.
  3) Login to your FrontAccounting and access your PDF report now. It should work now.

1) The Extensions system for company/0/installed_extension.php should be set to 755.
2) If you only have 1 company in your company setup (no subsidiary company), for safety purpose, you should set to 644 for both config.php and config_db.php.

Please use your FTP program (For example: Filezilla) and click on the file mention above.  Right Click on the filename and set to 755 or 644. Hope it help.

  It seem like the issue was due to FA 2.3.5 does not have LDAP Authentication. In FA 2.3.6 onward, FrontAccounting does support for External LDAP Authentication. Can you send me the files below and I will help you to check it.

  We have upgrading our FA Mobile Edition to support the latest released FA 2.3.7 with some bugfixes.  If you have previously using this modules, kindly re-downloads it again from

  Installation Guide have been included in the documents.

  1) Please BACKUP before you deploy it.
  2) No databases changes.
  3) Just overwrite the existing FA Mobile Edition files. Don't worry, it does not affect your existing FrontAccounting. Only overwrite the FA Mobile Edition.

The explaination below using Zencart and FrontAccounting Suites

Those module are running in batch process/real-time solutions. The Sales Order enter in Zencart will be automatically sync into frontaccounting while Sales Invoices are 2-ways sync where you can approved the sales order in either Zencart or Frontaccounting.

For Inventory Status like Stock Price and Quantity will be automatically sync from FrontAccounting into Zencart. No more Import/Export need to be done...It's all automatic process. Honestly, this is NOT worth if you buy only the FA Mobile Edition. We recommend that you should look for E-Commerce package (Opencart, osCommerce, Zencart etc).

Hi Tom,

   The data sync suites are available for downloads only applicable for PAID services via

OsCommerce FrontAccounting Integration.

     I don't think you need it as you can build it yourself. If you have time, please spend some time referring to FrontAccounting SOAP Web Service API. This module will create Customers and Contacts into FrontAccounting. You can "duplicate" it for the rest of the modules.

    Thanks you for your interested with the solutions. Let me introduce how it works. Basically, the concept is you  used  FrontAccounting to manage all your inventory, purchasing, sales, invoices etc.

     E-Commerce Solutions like osCommerce, Zencart, Opencart and others will capture new customers (Convert the visitors into Customers via Sales Order). The store owner are responsibility to create a new Category & Products via their own store. Once the customer make an orders. The E-commerce keep all the customers, contacts, sales order and invoices in the databases. Since we have all the information like customers, contacts, category, products, sales order and invoices in E-commerce database. We can sync those information into FrontAccounting easily.

  You have few options to make it work. No matter how, you need to program it.
   1) Sync via database level. You may create trigger for those related tables. The trigger (similar to the hook) will execute some program and performing insert/update data into FrontAccounting. I do not implement this way.

   2) Sync via WebServices. This is the current implementation that we have choose to implement it in our solutions. By choosing this solution, you can install the software in different location or different server. FrontAccounting in USA and osCommerce in UK. It doesn't matter. But we recommend that we put under the same server for better security and performance.

     Firstly, before we perform any synchronization, we should run a migration process which migrating all the related records in osCommerce into FrontAccounting. For example, Categories, Products, Customers.

  Second, login to the FrontAccounting.
  a) You may set the purchase price, selling price, quantity (Purchase from Suppliers), reorder-level and etc. The products selling price, quantity will be sync back to E-Commerce.

  b) When you received an Orders, you need to "Approved" the Sales Order (Under Sales -> Delivery Against Sales Orders) and then generate the Sales Invoices. The Sales Invoice will automatically sync back to E-Commerce. Remember to enter some description in the Memo fields. The Sales invoices description will be sync back to E-Commerce and visible to the customer.

Hi p2409,

  This plugin is only applicable to the field long_description in stock_master table. If you wish to change ALL the TEXTAREA fields, you can do it by referring to this plugin. Be sure that you change all the field type to "TEXT".

For example:

ALTER TABLE `0_stock_master` CHANGE COLUMN `long_description`  TEXT DEFAULT NULL;

  In order to insert products into FA. You may refer to the table stock_master. For stock category, you may refer to stock_category.

The purpose of this CKEditor is to replace the existing item description TEXTAREA with more user friendly editor as similar to Microsoft Word Format.

Installation Notes:
1. Please make a backup before executing this step.
2. Extract FrontAccounting CKEditor plugin.
3. Upload to your FrontAccounting Root directory. Some of the existing file items.php and inserts.js will be overwrited to support CKEditor plugin.
4. Database remain unchanged.
   
      If you already have existing FrontAccounting company for example 0. You need to overwrite the
      file and copy another set of js into company->0->js_cache
