Having just reached my year end, I am having an issue producing what I would have assumed would be a couple of key and straightforward reports - that show debtors/creditors at the year end.

Using the 'aged creditors' report, for example, with an end date of the year end, it seems that an invoice that was issued before the year end and paid after the year end does not appear, even in the 'current' column.  I assume this is because it has (now) been paid, but is this the right behaviour?  Or am I using the wrong report here?

It is possible to do this manually using the 'Supplier balances' report, but it surely shouldn't be necessary to do this manually.  Isn't a running check on debtors/creditors something everyone needs?  Or do such reports only work like this if they are run at the time, and not retrospectively?

Am I missing something obvious here?

Many thanks

Paul

I want to edit both the email and the attachment that go out to a supplier when you click on the 'email remittance' button after entering a payment.  In particular, the first line (addressee) in the email text, and the amount in words (which is a bit clumsy) at the bottom of the attachment.

Can someone please point me towards the relevant files/parameters to edit?

Thanks

Paul

Dates don't seem to have been the problem, but I can't trace what was - it seems to have resolved itself.

Whether this is a further feature of some slightly odd caching behaviour that I can't quite pin down, or solve, I'm not sure.  Despite my browser being set not to cache anything, I still get some caching problems at time, where data entered does not show until a cache is cleared and the page reloaded.  (There was a system reboot at the client end between the post and its resolution.)

Is there a way of addressing this, does anyone know, ideally at the server end?

Thanks

Paul

I have a bit of an anomaly on a live system.

I posted a journal entry (moving a part of one transaction underneath another code) that seems to have been part accepted (but only part) into Front.  The effect of this is:

1.  When I run a 'Journal Enquiry' filtered on 'Journal Entry' only, the journal is not listed.
2.  When I run a 'List of Journal Entries' report, it is listed.
3.  The 'List of Journal Entries' report gives the GL codes to which the journal lines apply, but neither appears in the transactions against that code in a GL Inquiry.

Any idea of how I might fix this?

Many thanks

Paul
