I tried to say the problem is not that the problem is not that the link is visible (i know that not activated options are always visible in grey).
The problem is that the function is alway clickable... even if authorized or not (in the user access roles setup), the user can always click on the hyperlink.
if authorized --> the system diagnostics screen shows up
if not authorized --> the user access error shows up.
is it normal that this is the only function which is always clickable, even if authorized or not?
Is it maybe possible to add the "preview invoice" feature? So that it will be possible to view the invoice (in pdf) how it will looks like (maybe with DRAFT or something like that thourgh the invoice).
This button can be localised next to the "cancel invoice" and "process invoice" button in the invoice entry screen.
I hope it will be possible.
The "system diagnostics" functionality in the "setup" section, is always visible. This function cannot be disabled in the access setup.
Is it possible to add this function to the access setup, so it will be invisible if preferred?
BTW when clicking on it when not authorized, it shows the "The security settings on your account do not permit you to access this function" message. That is ok, but maybe it is possible to make the function also invisible in the setup tab.

Front accounting is an easy to use free program for your accounting. It's simple in use for the invoicing of your sold products and services. FA doesn't have a rental module yet, so you can't setup your rental assets and use a kind of rental screen where you can enter a rental order or see what the location (rented or 'at home') of your assets are.
If you only have a few transactions weekly/monthly then I think FA is a good practice to use. I would say just try to install the FA program and try if it's suitable for you. Since a week a new Dutch language pack is online, so for Dutch people the functions of FA are maybe now better to understand.
If you have any questions you can always ask the community for help. My experiences are that everybody on this forum is very helpful 
thnx sledge, i have found and corrected the corrupt lines in de po file. When saving the file now in POedit, the error disappeared
Everytime i'm using FA I discover new typo's. As I said, it's a ongoing process... after the next minor/major release i will send in an updated translation file.
I know there is a bug in the PO-file... when editing in POedit it's shows an error by saving the file. But i can't find the line number where the error is. Can you tell me on which line / word the error occurs?
I found some other grammatical or translation mistakes and I am busy updating the translation file all the time. It's a continously proces
go to the setup tab and to create/install languages.
Just click on the download icon after the dutch language. If it doen't work, delete the dutch language in that screen and press the download icon again.

I will keep on updating the translation file, so everybody please report translation bugs/mistakes here, so we are able to make a better language file which must be perfect at the end
@sledge: the huge temporary file problem looks very strange, but i think the translation file itself cannot be the problem. It must have another reason...

Hello, i have experienced some problems by updating mij FA 2.3.5 to a new updated version. All previous updates worked fine, but after uploading the new 2.3.6 or 2.3.7 files to the server logging in is impossible. When i enter my username and password after updating, it says my password is wrong.

I have installed FA just 2 weeks ago and it works wonderfull. I'm currently busy with updating the nl_NL language file (from belgium translation +/- 50% to dutch translation) and it's almost finished (95%). I expect finalizing within a week.
But i still have some questions left:
- how can I change the version number in the package details to 2.3.2 ?
- how can i change my contact details as listed in the package details?
- how can I share this language file with other users or how can it be included as a default language in next FA versions?
