Where I can find code related to Item Search?

Kindly help me to locate the code for Item Search. I am customizing sale order screen and added some fields. The Ajax Item Search work perfectly w/o debug but when I run the application in debug mode. It won't work. I have not able to find that exact code in Sales/sale_order_entry.php.
