Topic: problem installing in languages other than EN

Hi!

I want to install the windows and every time I do it only in English.
For a month I try to install the FA and I have a problem with the installation in the language PL (and any other outside EN).
I tried to do the installation and XAMP WAMP on WinXP and Win7.
  In the "Display System Diagnostics" an error "Missing the system locale: pl_PL.iso-8859-2".
I add that I can install practically just en_US - other languages also do not work

Help please :-)

Please ensure that you have the new FA 2.3.0a from Sourceforge.net. And please download the latest /includes/lang/gettext.php and /includes/packages.inc from the CVS repository. We have changed a few things for Windows install. This will be included in 2.3.1.

Hi Joe!

I noticed another problem with file "gettext.php". Despite the installation of languages other than standard (EN) in the file "error.log" there is an error "code language "pl_PL" encoding "iso-8859-2" not supported by your system."

Can you help? smile

I guess you are running FA under Linux. Put
pl_PL.ISO-8859-2  ISO-889-2
line in your /etc/locale.gen file and run locale-gen as root

I work on Windows. Regional Settings I have checked and set to "polish".
I see that you are working on Linux and Joe on Windows - because the question addressed to him smile
