Import Transactions - HELP

I followed the import transactions 'help' closely, and even downloaded the sample csv for journal entries.  I changed the date, and the account codes.  I process the file and it appears on my screen properly.  However when I check, nothing has been posted.  Any ideas what I might be doing wrong?
