Topic: Cannot create new company FA 2.4.9

Hello,

I recently installed FrontAccounting 2.4.9 on a dedicated Ubuntu machine running Apache, MySQL and PHP 7.2. Everything is working out great, except now I'm trying to add a new company from the Setup tab. When submitting the form, I get the folowing error:

SQL script execution failed in line 16:
Cannot create new company due to bugs in sql file.

I'm running version 2.4.9 of FrontAccounting which I downloaded from Sourceforge. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to fix this issue so I can add my second company?

Yours sincerely,
Jochem

This is sql file error.  Check your apache error log as well as FA's error log.  With that we will get to know which query failed to work.

Or you can goto sql directory and open the en_US-demo or new sql files. Directly import them in a phpmyadmin  by creating a database. It will show you the error. With that error if you know MySql query you can fix it.  Or you can post your query here. We will provide you fix

Oops, seems like there was a permissions problem with my MySQL user. Fixed it and now I can create a new company!
