Topic: Item vs Sales Kit
Is it a bug that you can create a Sales Kit with the same alias as an existing Stock_ID?
I'm using FA 2.1.2

It's much more fun, when you can discuss your problems with others...

Yes, it is. To be fixed in CVS ASAP.
Thanks Tom.

In sales_kits.php line 87 should be kit_code instead of item_code. Fixed in main CVS.

Well it looks like my next task will be to import BOM's
I do not like the way Sales Kits appear on the Sales Order/Invoice.
It looks like Manufacturing/BOM's is the way to go

what is sales kit..? and what it is used for..? and how it is used..?
The Sales Kit definition is only for your own pleasure. In some kind it is a mix of items and assembled items, without the assembling procedure.
If you have some items that belongs together when you sell them, then to not forget the items you could name such a set as a Sales Kit.
When you enter this Kit Number on the item lines in Sales Order/Delivery/Invoice it will expand into the belonging items. This way you don't forget any, right?
