Topic: FA for Services Company

Hi,

I am just evaluating FA for use in our company. We are Medical Third Party Administration company for medical claims and billing. Simply put, we process medical bills from Hospitals and invoice them to our clients. When our clients pay we then pay the hospitals.

From the first look, i get the feeling that FA is more focused towards Manufacturing businesses. The advice i am seeking is that can FA be used for our industry. If so, some summary advice on how i could do this. I may be asking too much here but i had to because i could get a flowing "Getting Started for New User" guide.

Since you have stated you process the hospital medical bills. Is it like supplier bills.?

And are you working as medical intermediate who works in between hospitals and insurance company to apply for the claims with covering expenses and get insurance claims for the customers.

I guess you might be in Tamil nadu. If so explain me the process of hospital bills. Let me help you to understand it better.

If you do not want a full fledged double entry book keeping system but just want to keep track of AR/AP, then use the likes of SimpleInvoices. FA may be overkill here.
