Hi Guys

Great system .... I love it !!

I have one issue and that is the email function for emailing e.g. a customer invoice does not send the email.

Any pointers would be much appreciated.

Hi Lindsay,
Did you check that the sender email is OK (the company email in company setup)? The Branch email (or Customer email) is OK? That you have the possibility to send email from your site? If you are trying this on a local installation it might not work.

Both the company and customer emails seem ok and they can both send and receive emails ... This is being tested on windows server

Any other pointers..

Hello Lindsay,
I was hoping that someone out there could help us. This is the first time I have heard about this problem. In the meantime you could ask your Web host if sendmail is enabled on the server.

When are email supposed to be sent?

In the code I saw emails can be send to a Inevntory Location email address.. it also looked like there was a flag to enable/disable it.

Hello,
You can send invoice by email manually from the report module.
Also when you set $loc_notification  to 1 in config.php emails are sent to respective inventory location about low level of ordered items during new sales order entry.
