The demo data and new data (en_US-demo.sql en_US-new.sql ) should be updated to have a default fiscal year of 2009

The en_US-demo.sql has a fiscal year of 2009.
The en_US-new.sql shouldn't have, because you will probably start with Open Balance values in 2008. And you can establish the fiscal year as you want, either an entended one, or a normal one.
