Topic: Assemby, disassembly and advance manufacturing issue

Hello forumers, am kind of new to FA.
Please i will like to know the difference between Assemby, disassembly and advance manufacturing.
In what circumstance is each applicable or used and also what are the metrics that must be available before the usage of each 1 of them. I have read the wiki but i dont seem to understand that part.

Assembly: Make a BOM from Inventory and Assemble it to make another Inventory Product.
Disassembly: Disassemble such an assembled Inventory and explode the components back into their original inventory items.
Manufacture: Use a BOM along with other services and costs to manufacture an Item and you can keep adding items and costs as you manufacture.
