Topic: Can't Install Another Language

I can't install another language (Indonesian) , it's just ENG after i did click download button on setup update and install language pack, and i got an error

then i click add language manually, after download language pack in sourceforge, i fill anything like this

i dont know what the mean of step 7-8
on installed collumn, still unknown, the default language also unknown
what should i do?

A recent fix for windows package extraction may fix your errors.

but that link is database restore fixed warning?
and also i write it already and still not working
there is triangle warning below setup tab after i click that icon

The database restore fix is also used for unpacking archives for language packages as well.

You have not properly setup utf-8 and folders and permissions in your webroot. Here is a possible workaround to stay in iso-8859-1 itself.

Attached is the id_ID lang in iso-8859-1 encoding. Just overwrite (or create the necessary folders and put them in) the files in lang/id_ID/LC_MESSAGES/ folder.

Don't forget to update the lang/installed_languages.inc file with the necessary encodings.

well, on FA 2.3.21 it's still not working, but thats no problem anymore after i using FA 2.3.22, thanks big_smile
just info, after change language in setup, we must log out to see the result
