Topic: Journal Entry
Hi,
I suggeste that need to add field company code to Journal Entry same as Payments and Deposites.
Then can use not need sales and purchase company for A/R or/and A/P purposes.
It will be more flexible ERP.
I think.

I guess you can use the Bank Payments / Deposits in Banking and Journal entry to do the same issue.

You are right!
But, I think your are alrady know this principel of Accounting as below.
Accounting have accrual basis and the realization(Cash) principle.
FA faithful for the realization of the principle, but a little bit insufficient instead accrual principle.
If customers/supplier can register on the Journal Entry, than will be more faithful to the principles of accrual.
I think.

Quick entries function is a bit lacking.
Purchasing module can use this purpose register kinds of item with service or fee and non inventory products,
but this is a kind of expedient, so I suggest this as well.
Thanks,
