Topic: I just get a timeout message...

During step 2 in the installation I get a timeout stating
"The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading."
, if I refresh in chrome, then I get sent back to step 1 with the message

"All application preliminary requirements seems to be correct. Please press Continue button below."

If I refresh in firefox I get the same timeout message.

I turned off my firewall, and it did not do any difference, I use my local server as a webserver as well... It works fine and I have no connection issues or anything.

I spent alot of time pursuing the errors in my Apache log, here is some of it...

I tried copying libmysql.dll into the system32 folder and the apache/bin folder that did not work. I only get connection issues with the FrontAccouting installer.

I have created a mysql database and I just give straight root access in the installer.

Windows 7 and the latest versions of Apache2, Perl5, PHP5, MySQL5
I just don't get it...

Re: I just get a timeout message...

The problem had to do with the language thing... I kept it crossed all the time because I want another language, when i un-crossed it it worked... BUT that means that I have a problem connecting to the language thing for some reason!

Installing languages inside FrontAccounting does NOT work... neither  "Install/Update Languages", "Install/Activate Extensions", "Install/Activate Themes" or "Install/Activate Chart of Accounts" work.

Re: I just get a timeout message...

Seems there is some problem with FA repository access. The problem has been reported on the forum some times and seems to be related to Windows FA installations. Unfortunatelly I can't  reproduce the situation on Linux, and  I have no Windows access, so I can't help.
