Topic: Customer Schemes

I want to offer some item as free to customer as a scheme from my supplier and later i need to claim the same items which i had given as a free to customer.
The Scenario is like this
A customer buys some item of 100$ then he becomes eligible for getting 20$ free items.
I give customer 20$ item as free to customer which should be deducted from my inventory
Now, I want a report or can see all item which are given as a free to all customer so that i can claim those free items from supplier.

I guess the easiest way is to define two items in inventory for this purposes (normal and gratis). This make possible quantity control on gratis items, however need separate maintenence of the gratis stock.
