Topic: Email Not Sending

Good day, I trust you are all well.

I have been using FrontAccounting for over a year hosted with a hosting company with no issues however, suddenly emails sent by the FrontAccounting package are not been sent to my clients. I tested this on myself and also never received anything, it was working fine just yesterday.

Anyway the hosting company are confused too.

The green bar confirms sent but nothing is sent. I am not using multiple email addresses do its not that.

This was a question from my hosting company:
Please advise if you using a PHP script to send these mails and using one of your existing email accounts to authenticate? If NOT these mails will be sent via the host server email address which is not recommended.

Please is there a way to fix this? is there code to add to force FA not to use the hosting email address? An SMTP coding perhaps?

Has your hosting company recently upgraded their PHP version?

Some email service providers and their SMTPs now prevent insecure ports and certain attachment types.
