Pressing alt+ letter works fine for the main tabs, but does not work for sub-modules on each page, as some sub-modules have same activation letter. (there are 5 'i's under purchase) I am keeping alt depressed. All functions correctly in default theme. Has anyone had the same problem?
What browser and version on what platform are you using it on?
Tried in chrome Version 40.0.2214.45 (64-bit), firefox 34.0 & opera 26.0.
FA 2.3.22
Tried on local devel server and a production server.
Win 8.1
Same problem here. It appears that the Tabs supercede the Menu Links.
In Purchases tab, try Alt+G - that works.
I cannot get g to work in dashboard, exclusive or exclusive_db.
Try in standard themes first.
As in title, the problem is only in dashboard, exclusive & exclusive_db themes for me....default theme works as I think is expected.
Even in default theme, the Alt-I will not work if the tab has it and is available multiple times in the menu links.
As in my original post. Pressing alt and continuing to press it whilst pressing 'i' repeatedly will allow you to access all the 'i's in the default theme. There is nothing wrong with the default theme, keyboard shortcuts work fine in the default theme as per the code in inserts.js or what I understand of it. The problem is keyboard shortcuts do not work in dashboard, exclusive & exclusive_db themes.
Thanks for the info. Will checkout the other themes after FA v2.4 integration is complete (hectic work is a pace in the Hg repo). Possibly some js glitches and version incompatibilities.

Meanwhile I decided to modify the theme 'elegant' I've replaced the existing static quick access side menu with a dynamic menu listing all app functions for selected application. All 'hotkeys' work as expected, so no need to use the mouse. Also included hide_inaccessible_menu_items for user roles. Other than that all is exactly the same as the existing elegant theme
I've tested the theme in FA v2.3.22 and FA v2.4
Would you be interested in including this in FA's theme collection?
My code will probably need checking by someone more experienced.
If you are interested please advise on 'how' as this will be my first contribution to an open source project
You can just upload your new elegant theme to the contribution email shown on the Contact Us page.
