Topic: missing accounts in drop down menu

Hello

I am just setting up a new company in FA. Have used the same GL (with some additions) as previous company but in Journal Entry not all the GL accounts show up. When I search in GL accounts they are there. The most important one not showing up in the JE drop down is 1060 Chequing Acct.

I have no idea why it isn't showing up there. It appears everywhere else.

Bank accounts are not shown in Journal Entry. Use the bank deposit or bank payments.

Hi Joe. That is odd, as they show in the journal entry for the other company I have open.

If you want to use bank accounts also in Journal Entry, you must set the Users Access Role for :

Banking & GL Transactions, Journal Entries to Bank Related Accounts.

This must be set specific for all companies.
