Topic: Print Customer Statement

Went I try to send customer Statement by email I get the following message.

YOU HAVE NO EMAIL CONTACT DEFINED FOR THIS DOCUMENT

The customer who I'm trying to send the statement has been previously set up and the branch has been set up.  He as all ready received invoice via email.

Please help with problem.

Thanks

Re: Print Customer Statement

The customer statement uses the contact defined on the customer and not the branch contact.

Setup a customer contact with relevant type (invoice).

Isn't there a way that one can copy the first branch that is created to the company as well as branch contact. Most Companies will have one contact with one branch.

At the moment only the one item is normal selected to be email and you have to manually add the rest of the documents that needs to be emailed, example  Invoice and statement.

Can't we get all selected when the auto branch is created as well as creating a contact in the company for Statements.

Re: Print Customer Statement

Today a general Contact is created on the branch when the variable $auto_create_branch is set to 1 (all documents).

Yes, sure, a Contact should also be created on the customer for emailing statements. So this is done now.

Repo is updated and you can download the /sales/manage/customers.php1 here. Rename to customers.php and replace on your server.
