Topic: Check printing - how to access it?

I activated the check printing module.  How do I access it?

Re: Check printing - how to access it?

First you should activate it for the company you are working on.

Then you should go into the Access Setup in Setup tab and make access to it for some user groups.

Finally you should be ready to access it by using the Purchasing Tab. It should be in the lower right corner of the menu.

Re: Check printing - how to access it?

I installed and activated it for the company I am working on.

I don't see it in the Access Setup list.  I'm looking for something like "Check Printing", but I'm not finding it.

It looks like the module is not extending the $security_areas array.  Maybe you can fill me in on how this is supposed to happen.  Btw, thanks for your help.

Ah, I see it doesn't use the security area. You should be able to print the checks. After activating, you should see the menu in the Purchase Tab menu.

Re: Check printing - how to access it?

Hello again, I see that something has been changed in the modules activating.

After activating the module, reports are at the end in the Print out centre for Purchasinmg.

Re: Check printing - how to access it?

Nice, I found it.  It was under Sales->Customer and Sales Reports->Supplier->Printable Check

It printed something that looks like a check.  That's a good sign.

Thanks for the help!

How do I print checks that are not to a supplier, such as a payroll check or a reimbursement check?  I see where I can write the check, but don't see where to print it.
