Yes trial balance was balanced at beginning of the year and there were no transactions throughout the year to this account.

Hi All
I have a trail balance question - on our year end the trial balance show one Asset Account opening at one number and closing at double. There are NO transactions to account for this and I cannot find anywhere that there would be an error. Anyone else had this happen and what was the issue - I am at a loss for where to look.

Is there a way to change a batch of entries that went into the wrong fiscal year (hopefully not cancelling and rentering them all)?????

Hi Joe. That is odd, as they show in the journal entry for the other company I have open.

Hello
I am just setting up a new company in FA. Have used the same GL (with some additions) as previous company but in Journal Entry not all the GL accounts show up. When I search in GL accounts they are there. The most important one not showing up in the JE drop down is 1060 Chequing Acct.
I have no idea why it isn't showing up there. It appears everywhere else.
Help!
