is there any way to  change search query in system ?

Hi i am quite new to FA i got some experience on php and mysql my question that
is search limit with name and item code ?
when i try some word from description all i get is nothing also
from name can`t search 2 words even right order
if the case is my mistake can you point out
if the mssing point of FA i would like to edit the search can you possible lett me know where is the mysql quary for search ?
