Hi Joe,
How do I enter interest received in a bank account? Do I use Deposits and log it to account 4440 Other Revenue>Interest and just enter the amount of the interest and the date?
Cheers,
Matt

How can I get the GIFI codes output in the reports?
Where do these Exchange Variance computations happen? Is it possible to get them recalculated once the proper exchange rates have been imported? A lot of these numbers seem out of proportion. :-(

1) I can't seem to get the "Import Multiple Journal Entries" extension working. I notice Joe's message from 2009 says that extensions must be installed manually. Is this still the case? It is installed and available and shows as activated under the Install/Activate extensions page for the desired company.
2) Also in regard to this extension I would like to ask if this is the best way to integrate journal entries of a subsidiary? Say I have a subsidiary set up as another company, can I just export the journal entries from that company, and then import them to the parent company, perhaps using a new dimension for the entries?
Cheers,
Matt
I'm having an error trying to use the New Wave theme. Turned it on in display settings and this is what I got:
include_once(./themes/newwave/renderer.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in file: /home/company/public_html/front/frontaccounting.php at line 59include_once(): Failed opening './themes/newwave/renderer.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/opt/alt/php55/usr/share/pear:/opt/alt/php55/usr/share/php') in file: /home/company/public_html/front/frontaccounting.php at line 59 Class 'renderer' not found in /home/company/public_html/front/frontaccounting.php on line 62

Is the there some way to have sub-accounts? I want to have multiple accounts which post to Loans From Shareholders. For example: Loans from Shareholder1, Loans from Shareholder 2, and they aggregate in Loans From Shareholders.
How do I do that?
Cheers,
MrMatt
