Yes along with your utf 8 converted po and compiled mo. He has to update the installed_languages.inc with its right encoding

The original po file was encoded in ANSI and that will be needed to be converted to UTF-8 without BOM and then compiled which is what is done in the attachment in my earlier post.

Change the encoding to utf-8

It will work for you.

Try the attachment and fix the encoding in the installed_extensions.php file in both the FA webroot and in the Company/# folders as well in case you had installed the iso version earlier.

So I will have to check the mo and po files, can it be that only the PDF's are involved?

I will use po-edit and check that the languagefile is utf8, after that i will notify.

Hi,

i have not done much with FA lately.
So i installed 2.4.6 to demonstrate.

I have 1 problem for which i need a hint where to search on how to solve it.

The complete system runs on utf8.

just the reports generated as PDFs do not show ä ö or ü right.

Anyone an idea where i have to search for a solution?

any hint is welcome.
