Account Code 2 is generally used for linking (lookup) with third party programs / vendors / suppliers / CRMs, etc. The ERD should self-explanatory. Refer the Wiki for other relationship notes.

I am trying to create sub accounts by using Account Code 2

For Example

4010 Sales
4010 01 Sales Department 1
4010 02 Sales Department 2

When I try to do this I receive an error the account already exists.

I have looked at the GL help and cannot find an answer
