@kvvaradha, everything is viewed as intergrated...though no core files modified...just an ext.

Should be able to put what I have up by end of week.

May be he can. But the core is not supported to modify anything within it. So it will be separate pages to add those fields into it.

hey,
the above mentioned comment regarding play with MYSQL that we know that but this is risky for everyone because whenever you update the FA its will be vanished or removed furthermore the custom fields is best feature for FA as per my idea. This feature must be link with all modules such as suppliers, customers, generating invoices, generals, ledgers and etc.
Hope so @poncho1234 would done this and best of luck..

@poncho1234, Are you bringing the fields to default customers, suppliers page, Because people will prefer to see the fields within the Existing modules.

I'm in the process of creating an ext. that features custom fields for customers, suppliers and items, should be ready within 2 weeks

Customers
Suppliers
Items
FA users
With a flag to show in reports or not .

Sorry. FA does not support to add custom fields to customers and suppliers. But you can customise to add them easily. Just do this

Open 0_debtors_master , 0_suppliers table from your MySQL database client. And. Add necessary fields with its right data type. Than open files of FA hosted to use.

Root of FA /sales/manage/customers.php
Root of FA/purchasing/manage/suppliers.php

Here play with program to add those fields and its saving functionality

hey,

is there any modules or add-on need to create for custom fields such as in supplier & customer section. we need to add a input of APPROVAL AUTHORITY NAME & DATED,
so how can we do that..
