I found the info on Hot Keys at

It would be very useful to have one to add a new GL account on the fly.
Perhaps this feature could be added to next update.
Again, not being a programmer I can't do that.

Hello MarkAndrew,

Please make a forum search with the word hotkey.

There should be hotkeys for customer, branch, supplier and items.

I am out of office right now, but you should find them. For customers it is F2.

These hotkeys can be used where there are respective fields in the forms.

It would be great to be able to add new GL accounts , Customer accounts, Supplier accounts and Inventory items "on the fly" without having to leave a processing screen to go to a set up screen.

For example I'm making a direct payment and discover part way thru that there is no GL account for my transaction set up. I need to leave my processing screen and loose info already input to go to a set up screen to add the new GL account.

Such a function would make user experience better.
