or I'm to stupid (which is a possibility ) or the language files aren't just what they need to be but I don't see the website in Dutch.

You need to choose the language for the user under preferences. Also verify that the encoding is right - ISO... or UTF-8...

nl_BE (Belgium), I installed the ;MO and .PO language but my interface doesn't change language.

The UI translation is accessed by installing the appropriate language locale and choosing the interface language in preferences.

when safe mode is on, apache php doesn't allow logins in php scripts. When I disallow safe mode this issue was resolved. The frontaccount is surely an web application i wanna keep. Just need to know links for translations to Dutch. (the entire webapplication I mean)

Make sure you do a "FLUSH PRIVILEGES;" before proceeding.

maybe this isn't a bew post but i'm new here.
running mysql server at hostname,port 33060, user and password
I've entered for server host hostname:33060, my username, password and pre-created empty database dbaccount.

When trying to proceed to installation step 3 I receive "Cannot connect to database. User or password is invalid or you have no permittions to create database."

I'm database administrator of my own database server and I can create databases remotely via linux terminal.
My question: What did I do wrong?

I found the problem. Mysql safe mode was on in php.ini file.
Now I can install everything.
