If you mean report 304, that we just fixed, then the answer is yes. This report is automatically included in the next release.

This has been implemented in release 2.3.24. Git repository updated. Two files can be downloaded here

/reporting/reports_main.php and
/reporting/rep304.php .

Replace the files on your server.

It doesn't show customer and product. Only inventory sales report does.

@MarkAndrew: You're right, the stock throws the balance sheet off. The report must have a flag to include service items as well.

you can't do that as the "inventory item" will be included in your balance sheet as stock which will reflect a huge incorrect value of stock that does not exist which would be very bad if you're using Front for accounting not just invoicing.

Front can't report the sale of services like in the Inventory Sales Report....

Category Description Customer Qty Sales Cost Contribution
Service Programming ABC Ltd 3 15 000 - 15 000
Service Server Management XYZ Ltd 1 2 000 - 2 000

It would be really helpful if it could.
Maybe there is someone out there who can add this report?

If you wish to track inventory of Services, then create a Service Item of Inventory Type (and not Service Type) and put in a huge value of stock so that it does not run out... A separate stock category if you want.....

Inventory Sales Report

Sales of service items don't appear in the Inventory Sales Report (ISR)
This means that if I run the ISR it does not balance to the GL Sales in the Profit and Loss.
It would be better if the ISR included sale of service items so that it balances to the P&L.
