ECB does not have SAR:

Maybe you should change the exchange provider from ECB to either YAHOO or GOOGLE.

You do that by changing in config.php file down near the end.

$xr_providers = array("ECB", "YAHOO", "GOOGLE", "BLOOMBERG");
$dflt_xr_provider = 0;
CHange this from 0 to either 1 or 2.

Hello there,

I have created new "Banking and GL>>Currencies"
Currency Abbreviation:SAR
Currency Symbol:SAR
Currency Name:Saudi Riyal
Hundredths Name:Halala
Country:Saudi Arabia
Automatic exchange rate update: yes

Then went into
Banking and GL>>Exchange Rates select Saudi Riyal

Now we do sell and buy goods from local market and also import other goods from international US$ or other currency's but the exchange rate is not updating against SAR !!!, please advice
