Oh boy, I think I know what the problem is here.
We had resently a nasty bug in the file /gl/gl_bank.php.

Please go to this link.
Press download this file and after that, replace the file in /gl folder.

Then everything should work.

Hello I believe there is a small bug in the 2.3.19. I also downloaded the version, upgraded, but afterwards could NOT make any bank deposits or bank payments. I also received the error message "Settled amount have to be positive".

There is a small updated on this issue. Can you find it on the following page:

You have to specificaly look at message no 14.

I'm also having the same problem. Getting error "Settled amount have to be positive number." on Bank Account Payment Entry page.
But this error is only if select Pay To : Supplier from the drop down menu.
If i select "Miscellaneous, then it works right for me.
I'm using English Indian COA and FA 2.3.19

Much thanks Joe 4 your prompt response.

I checked for many times. Journal Entry works perfectly but whenever I put an amount in Payments & Deposits got the error. Mentioning that I had not revised the source code, just changed DB to UTF8 and some Banking and AC modification, also I am using latest release 2.3.19.

I am not sure. Did you enter the amounts with an initial minus sign? All amounts should be entered positively. FA handles the sign internally.

Dear specialist

After creating new CA and hundreds of hours up and down operation, I got an error in Deposited and Payment section. What ever I do for payment settlement, got an error with the message of "Settled amount have to be positive number".

Wondering what part I made a change in DB or the use of FA I got this.
BTW, I did not change any code in FA.

You prompt answer appreciated in advance.
