Hello,
you should create a new supplier (not customer) when you want to make purchase orders (they are sent to your supplier).

yesterday i frst of create a new customer...and try to make purchase order but didnt find the name of new customer in dropdown menu..??? help me out..!!!

moreover i want to knw which table contains the customers name..??
