@wahid , the asset is [item and inventory]-> [Maintenance] -> [assets type entries] and [asset entries]

@barbarian , Is anyone working on this issue - journal function or will it be resolved in version 2.4?

Btw, I already inspect the code for this module and I think there is no function to create a journal where we entry a new asset. The trigger and function in mysql only works for amortisation and I already confirm that.

I already create a trigger and it does nothing. I use root privilege in my localhost. But I remember it used to create a journal entry before.

I have activated the Asset module but it doesn't show any thing, any new tab and I couldn't find it
Please guide me? what should I do?

Check if the module needs Triggers and procedures rights for the db user.

I added some assets to the Asset Module but they are not reflected on the balance sheet.
Also, what is meant by % Depreciation and does it do anything?
Neither straight-line method nor double-declining balance cares about % so I find that a little confusing.
