I'm not an expert with module but each type correspond to the different "page" find in editing "Items and Inventory" and "Manufacturing"
- Bill of Material
- Unit of Measure
- Sales Kit
- Foreign Item Codes
- Purchase prices

I am reading the readme file for the import items csv module. What is the difference between BOM, UOM, KIT, FOREIGN and BUY type?
