			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>I really hope we have some Windows users here who can assist you. Because once you get PHP running, you&#039;ll need to install and configure a database. I understand the Linux VM suggestion was probably a bit much for an accountant, but... Wouldn&#039;t it have been easier to just install something like XAMPP?</p><p>Anyway... The error suggests that IIS did call PHP, but the latter returned an error (or didn&#039;t return anything). 			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Feedback: I finally found PHP Manager for IIS: https://phpmanager.codeplex.com/releases/view/69115. After tweaking some settings, I tried phpinfo() but the report was negative. <br />I then tried: http://localhost/phpinfo.php and got this error report:</p><p>Error Summary<br />HTTP Error 500.0 - Internal Server Error<br />C:\php\php-cgi.exe - The FastCGI process exited unexpectedly</p><p>contents of phpinfo.php file=&gt;<br />&lt;?php&nbsp; phpinfo() ?&gt;</p><p>thanks. what do I need to do?</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>i can see that all the files in the frontaccounting directory are php.<br />I have followed through with the installatin guide. <br />Pre-requisites</p><p>&nbsp; &nbsp; A working HTTP web server. IIS 7.<br />&nbsp; &nbsp; PHP installed on the web server. [configured php.ini and other tasks]<br />&nbsp; &nbsp; A working MySQL server - with innodb tables enabled (see notes below)<br />&nbsp; &nbsp; Adobe Acrobat Reader - or another PDF reader for viewing the PDF reports before printing them out.</p><p>I have also followed through with the instructions on the page. It&#039;s been hours work! Now, what else do I need to do to get FrontAccounting up and running?<br />Windows 7, IIS 7, 64 bit.</p><p>I reallly don&#039;t understand what it means to </p><div class="quotebox"><blockquote><p>Install FrontAccounting.</p></blockquote></div><p> At least I should not be ashamed of my ignorance. everyone starts from somewhere.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;</p><p>First, after scrupulously following through with the php configuration instructions (I carried out the manual installation since I use IIS and downloaded php with non-thread safe option), how do you verify that the configuration was okay?<br />That&#039;s for starters!</p>]]></content>
