Yes, but if you have made some changes for yourself in some files, you should backup these files for later adjustments.

No database changes, so to install just copy the files over the existing files Right?

- 0002032: user_theme() should return default if theme does not exist
- Fixed a couple of small bugs in Inventory Purchasing Report.
- Included Sales Pricing, Purchasing Prising, Cost update and Reorder Levels in tabs in Items form.
- Partially delivered Sales Order can now be closed using 'Cancel Order' button on edition.
- In case of document reference already in use, FA suggest the next number (if possible) ready to save again.
- New report, Inventory Movements, added to FrontAccounting core.
- Text not gettextized in /admin/backups.php.
- Fixed 'Moved Temporarily' error after login (on some server configurations).
- Email of Sales Documents now use the General Contact type (fall back if no 'orders', 'invoices' contact types)

Several fixes / enhancements have been made in the HG Repo since the release of FA v2.3.14 (HG Changeset 3153) and the changed file set along with one new file as of HG Changeset 3165 is attached in this post.

As a newbie to FA, I'm a little unsure of how to upgrade to the new 2.3.14 release. I don't have the ability to execute patch on the server, so applying the patch file is out. Do I just download the new version and copy all of the files over the old version?

An "Upgrading for Dummies" posted somewhere, preferably as a "sticky", would be very helpful!

Attached in this post is the diff file set from FA v2.3.13 to v2.3.14 along with a single patch file as well.

The new release is equivalent to Mercurial Changeset 3153.

Kindly note that the mere extraction of this zip file is insufficient in general to perform a real update. The new config.default.php variables need to be scrutinised and appropriately inducted into the existing config.php file. Any database changes between the standard schema of the sql/en_US-new.sql and the existing database for each company must be propagated thru with any new fields being accounted for with sensible defaults. The Upgrade page in the Wiki can be updated with user experience for each version migration.
