Unfortunately, the Sourceforge Mercurial Download Snapshot for the stable branch only provides a 442Kb subset of the files needed, but for the unstable branch, the full complement of 1.8Mb is downloadable.

The Git Mirror however has the full complement of files for snapshot download of the stable branch.

We are busy releasing 2.3.18 Farhaj. Please copy the unstable HG from Sourceforge to your Environment and you will see a menu choice for fixing period lock, I guess in Banking and General Ledger.

Many accountants request that at a certain point the previous month is closed so that reports can be issued.
When a month or a period is closed, no more transactions in that period can be posted.

Is there a way to close a month or a period in FA?
If transactions are allowed to be entered in a period that have had reports issued already, would render the reports outdated and useless. Therefore closing periods increasing report integrity.
