You should create a new theme for doing that. If you end up with a nice theme, please share it with us.

I have been able to disable the horizontal navigation. What I want now is smarter way of having the vertical navigation on all pages without manually editing every displayed page

I have created this menu in a seperate file with the intention of including the page

Look at the various themes, also those in the repository, to see how the menu presentations are done. You can access the repository frm the setup tab.

Whats the easiest and quickest way use a vertical navigation on the left hand side of the application and remove the top navigation. I want to get rid of the landing pages you are taken to when you click on the top horizontal navigation by using the submenus. The options on the lading pages have been intergrated into the proposed vertical nav.

Any pointers are most welcome
