it's editable sales invoice but it's not editable in vendor invoice ..

Thanks for your response Joe,

But I want to display directly long_description without editing that line.

For example, the description is 'ITEM1' and I want to change it to long_description 'ITEM1 with long description'.

Here 'ITEM1' displayed into Item Description column after clicking on Add Item button but I want to change it to 'ITEM1 with long description' after clicked.

Can I do this?

If you take the line down once again for editing, you can write your own description. Also you can use the Purchasing Price setup to set the suppliers item description.

Hello!

1. I am in Purchase Order Entry page, I am placing a new purchase order.

2. I am Adding a Item by clicking 'Add Item' button.

3. It will give line which will contain information like Item Code, Item Description, Quantity, etc.

4. I want to change Item Description column value. Currently its display description value from stock_master table.

5. If I want to display long_description value from stock_master table instead of description, what is the solution for this.

Can any body help me?
