Keep in mind the version available form Debian/Ubuntu is already outdated (2.2).

Frontaccounting is installed in http://192.168.1.200/usr/share/frontaccounting/ However, when I pointed my browser to that position (both in firefox and chromium), I got the message that "The requested URL was not found on this server"

So what I tried next is to register frontaccounting in /etc/apache2/sites-available/frontaccounting  and pointed the browser to 192.168.1.200

That Worked! Frontaccounting works like a charm this way.
But pointing at http://192.168.1.200/usr/share/frontaccounting/ still does not work. Still the requested URL was not found.

The problem also does not only exist when installing from the ubuntu repository. Also when I do a manual install according to the instructions on this site, I have the same problem. When I point the browser to the  server/frontaccounting dir/ , I get "The requested URL was not found"
 
Can somebody tell me what I am doing wrong?
