Yep, I understand that creation of PO doesn't create any accounting entries but it would be good not to allow creation of new POs in a closed fiscal year. Just helps keep things clean. Thanks.

A purchase order does not create any AP postings nor any GL postings, so it doesn't do any harm. However as soon as the receivals are done, they are blocked due to closed fiscal year.

This is not a bug per say but some can term it as such. This is related to Purchase Order. The system allows to create purchase orders in a closed Fiscal Year. That should be blocked to avoid many other related issues that could pop up later.
