That is what GL account groups are for, You can also have nested groups (parents). Try out the Trainincg Co.

Is there any intention to add nested gl accounts to the chart of accounts structure? What I mean is:

Computer and Internet Expenses is an umbrella account, sort of. And Domains, DSL and Supplies are all expense accounts that are subtotaled on the P & L under that umbrella account. I didn't get the feeling that that's what GL Account Groups was for, exactly...

Ideas?
