Thanks itronics.

Not sure how I would change that. Is the file in the FA folder? Can't seem to find it. I changed the MD5 in my users table on the DB in phpmyadmin (based on a post by Joe some time back) but that didn't work.

Also, is there a way I can just create a new database, re-install FA and THEN retrieve my previous data from the install I can't log in to and place it in my new DB.

Thanks.

No idea where is the source of problem, but if you just cannot login because of lost/changed password, you can (using phpmyadmin) update it with the standard one ('password') found in sql/en_US.sql file.
Janusz

I am setting up FA locally using Uniform Server and have just updated to a newer server version. I am having trouble logging in to front accounting now.

I backed up my FA folder from the server root and exported my database to a backup file using phpmyadmin. After updating server files I restored the FA folder to the root and re-imported my database. I have not been able to log back in after this procedure.

Any help / insights on how to log in to my FA install will be appreciated.
